white-glove service

Every week, we interview executives in charge of their organization's tech stacks.

Recently, we heard about a former attribution platform that felt like a 'waste of money,' needing to fix 'foundational' data issues, and wanting more of a 'white-glove' service from their ESP.

Why they chose to move off their attribution platform:

"We're on the smaller side, our budget isn't huge, our team is quite small, and so we weren't able to get a ton of value from [Former Attribution Vendor], and it just felt like a waste of money... We just kept reverting back to looking directly in platform for performance."

Why they need to fix 'foundational' data issues:

"We've got data in 170 something different systems and we have not historically done a good job of consolidating that and having a single view of our customer... To add, we're having issues with identity resolution. It takes a long time to get campaigns out the door because we have to pull segments of users manually and we're uploading CSV files and it's a lot of work to manage that."

Why they're thinking about replacing their ESP platform:

“I think there are certain platforms that we want to take a look at replacing. I think [ESP Vendor] is one of them. Is there something better out there that can do more things? Maybe has more of a white-glove service as well? Right now [ESP Vendor] is very self-serve...”
